Term One Overview
This term has been extremely fun and educational. I have learnt so much about the Treaty of Waitangi. At the start of this term, all I knew about the treaty was that it gave us a long weekend. Now, I could probably write a whole speech about it. I think I've improved in my maths, learning more strategies to help me solve equations. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and write, although the tests had me a little worried. I loved this terms inter-house challenge. Touch rugby? Great idea. Although it's a shame that Oreti didn't win, I can defiantly say that it was enjoyable. To wrap it up, we watched August Rush, a movie about how music is all around us. I enjoyed this term and hope that term two is just as good, possibly even better. A big, huge thank you to my teacher, Ms Mynes, and my classmates. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you next term.

Multiple Intelligences
In class we've been learning about multiple intelligence's and Howard Gardener's theory. Howard Gardener believed that the idea that intelligence was based on I.Q was incorrect. There are eight multiple intelligence's. Linguistic, musical, naturalist, bodily kinesthetic, visual and spatial, interpersonal, intrapersonal and logical/mathematical.
Linguistic - Word smart
Musical - Music smart
Naturalist - Nature smart
Bodily Kinesthetic - Body smart
Visual and Spatial - Picture Smart
Interpersonal - People smart
Intrapersonal - Self smart
Logical /Mathematical - Number/ Reasoning smart
We also grouped ourselves in 4 P's. Peaceful, playful, powerful and precise. You could be a blend between powerful and playful, powerful and precise or precise and peaceful.
I was a blend of playful and powerful.
